Acquittal in BC Supreme Court on Firearms and Drug Charges
The client was charged with both possession of a firearm with readily accessible ammunition and possession of cocaine. The client and two other individuals (who were not charged) were occupying a vehicle where the firearm and cocaine were found. At trial, reasonable doubt was raised as to whether the client had knowledge and control of the firearm and cocaine. The client was acquitted of all charges.
